A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Directive 13 is a decision-driven game that challenges your ability to follow the right leader through 13 interconnected levels. Developed for Unity Jam #2, this game pushes you to make sharp choices under pressure. In each level, you are presented with three leaders who appear remarkably similar—using high-end clothes, matching equipment, and closely resembling colors. But be warned: only one of them is the true leader, and the others are impostors.

What sets Directive 13 apart is its invisible loop mechanic: while the game takes place on a single, unchanging floor, the game world operates within an invisible loop. Your decisions influence your progression, but failure to choose the correct leader sends you back to the beginning, forcing you to reattempt and refine your decisions. This creates a sense of repeating cycles, even though the environment itself remains static.

To succeed, you must observe carefully and memorize the subtle differences that set the true leader apart from the fakes. Failure to follow the right leader sends you back to Level 0, where you start over, forced to reattempt and refine your decision-making. Keep in mind, the fake leaders will keep you on your toes with their similar appearances, so focus is key.

This game was built entirely from scratch in Unity as part of a game jam challenge, with voices and sound effects provided by ElevenLabs. Directive 13 is my first fully coded game, and it offers an intense test of your memory and attention to detail. Can you spot the real leader, break the loop, and complete all 13 levels?
